As much of Southeast Ohio was transformed into a winter wonderland this past weekend, The Vinton County Courier would like to take the time to let our readers know that in the event of inclement weather on publication days, we will always do our best to ensure timely delivery of The Courier.
A lot of work goes into the production of The Courier every week and we know you're anxious to read up on all the latest news and sports information in Vinton County. Sometimes, however, Mother Nature may want you to wait for a little while.
The Courier is printed in Athens at APG-Ohio's headquarters in The Athens Messenger. It is then shipped to Vinton County to various vendors and to the McArthur Post Office for delivery to homes.
In the case of snow emergencies, such as the recent Level 3, all vehicles must not be out on the roadway. Naturally, this would delay delivery if post office vehicles cannot travel the roadways and if our trucks cannot get The Courier to Vinton County on time due to large banks of snow.
We understand you're paying for a service. Part of the service you're paying for includes free access to our e-edition. We hope you're already taking advantage of that but if you're not, please give us a call and we will walk you through setting up your account.
