I was saddened to learn of the death of friend and reader, Wally Johnson, who died from injuries in a car accident. He would stop by from time to time to give me a tidbit for my column. Goodbye, ole Scout. I’m sure gonna miss your smiling face.
Please remember Shirley Bowman, who was badly injured in the wreck with Wally.
Please remember the babies from our area in Children’s hospital. I see them on Facebook but I don’t know their parents, only grandparents.
Thoughts to ponder — If a small misunderstanding can end a friendship, you were never friends to begin with.
Another thought — People will come and go in your life, but the person in the mirror will be there forever. Be good to yourself.
Another thought — In memory of those who left us too soon. We remember you in the morning, in the night when we look at the stars, a song, a place, or a smell. You are always with us.
