The new Mexican Restaurant in Oak Hill is Mi Mexico. Should be open soon.

I got a letter in the mail that the Milton Bank at Jackson will close its doors on April 12. I knew it was coming but still not happy about it.

The six-year-old girl in Oak Hill who had her eye removed due to cancer is taking chemo — keep her in your prayers. Another boy in Wellston has to have more chemo.

Congrats to Aaron Music on his Bachelor’s degree from Ohio Christian University. A Masters is next!

Don’t forget to bring me or any Lioness member your Christmas tins when you are done with them.

I heard on the radio that there were 22 accidents near the roadside rest and Cain Road last year. A patrolman is sitting near there until the end of February to monitor traffic. There were three fatalities.

The Pain Management doctor told me nothing more can be done for my back. I have to see a cardiologist to see if I can take the pill he recommends for my fibromyalgia. I was in AFIB while I was there.

I also saw on Facebook that people have spring flowers coming up. I saw a tree down to the old Davis Home that has buds all over it.

I heard on the news that Marvin Bales passed away. He was I believe a maintenance supervisor at the old Ralston Purina Plant in Wellston. A very likable guy.

Another thought — Lord grant me the strength to open this jar without the help of my husband whom I’m currently mad at!

Another thought — When you died, it was the biggest shock of my life. Nothing prepared me for it. I live each day wondering how I will get thru it, and then I remember. You would want me to.
