COALTON — A crowd of family and friends gathered inside the James A. Rhodes Community Building to watch five young ladies compete for a crown.
The fifth-annual Coalton Fall Harvest Festival royalty contests were held on Thursday, Sept 12.
The emcee for the royalty contests was 2018 Coalton Fall Harvest Festival Queen Abbey Barker. She welcomed everyone to the event and then had the 2018 Coalton Fall Harvest Festival Royalty introduce themselves.
Barker next introduced this year’s contestants and asked them a series of questions, which concluded the contest portion of the evening that lead into an intermission that included farewell speeches from the 2018 Queen and Court and introductions of visiting royalty.
After the intermission, Barker was then handed the sealed results and prepared to announce who the new winners would be.
The 2019 Coalton Fall Harvest Festival Royalty is made up of Queen Destiny Taylor, Princess Cassidy Riffle, Jr. Queen Chloe Gee, 1st Attendant Katelyn Yerian, and Little Miss Cadance Yerian.
The Coalton Fall Harvest Festival Royalty will travel to many parades, festivals and events over the next year, while representing Coalton.
