After the alleged theft of a vehicle in the McArthur area, a Hamden man now faces multiple charges.
The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office received a report on June 3 of a vehicle crash on Lockerplant Road in McArthur. A deputy arrived and spoke with the individuals, and the deputy reportedly determined that no one was injured and the vehicle had went off the roadway into a wooded area. One of the occupants of the vehicle reportedly had several active warrants for his arrest.
Curtis G. Faris, 29, of Hamden, was taken into custody without incident on active warrants for failure to comply with the order or signal of police officer, endangering children and criminal trespassing.
Faris was transported to the Southeastern Ohio Regional Jail. A bond hearing will be held at a later date.
