JACKSON — A Jackson man was arrested on Nov. 21 and is facing felony drug charges following a search.
Numerous agencies carried out a search warrant on a Mill Street residence in Jackson, including the Jackson County Major Crimes Task Force, the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, the Jackson Police Department, the Wellston Police Department and the Jackson County Municipal Court Probation Department.
Officials allegedly found firearms, digital scales and plastic bags reportedly containing a black tar-like substance during the search. Officials also seized a “large amount of cash,” according to a report.
Sean Wood, 24, was transported to the Jackson County Correctional Facility and faces charges of trafficking in drugs within 100 feet of a juvenile, a third-degree felony.
The case will be forwarded to the Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office for review.
