JACKSON — The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man from Oak Hill, who reportedly last communicated with his family on Friday, July 26.
The missing person is Benjamin Michael Saylor, 30.
Saylor reportedly lives on State Route 279 near Oak Hill.
He is described as a white male with brown hair and blue eyes. He is 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighs approximately 180 pounds. He was last known to have a beard.
Saylor also has a tattoo of a logging truck on his right arm and has a tattoo of a fishhook on the top of his hand.
On July 29, after not being able to contact his son for several days, his father reported him missing.
Since this disappearance, a Facebook group has been started called “Bring Michael Home.” The group has over 1,400 members and counting. A $1,100 cash reward is being offered to anyone who can lead the family to him or have him contact his mother.
As of Aug. 5, Saylor is still missing and is also labeled an “Endangered Adult.”
