JACKSON — A Wellston man sustained injuries Friday evening after crashing his motorcycle.
On Friday, Aug. 9, emergency responders were dispatched to a call of a motorcycle crash that occurred on Glade Run Road in Jackson County.
According to the Jackson Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol report, Michael K. Musser, of Wellston, was operating a 2008 Harley Davidson motorcycle. He was traveling south on Glade Run Road. The motorcycle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Musser sustained incapacitating injuries and was transported by a medical helicopter to Cabell Huntington Hospital in W.Va.
The crash remains under investigation by the Jackson Post. No charges have yet been filed, and alcohol is not believed to be a contributing factor, the Patrol reported.
