McARTHUR — Although no countywide levies appeared on the Nov. 5 ballot in Vinton County, voters decided on three village and five township levies.

The following results are considered unofficial until certified by the county’s Board of Elections later in November:

Village Levies

McArthur — McArthur Village Police Protection and EMS, replacement; 2.5 Mills, 4 years

  • For the levy — 219

McArthur — Current Expenses, replacement; 1.5 Mills, 5 years;

  • Against the levy — 129

Zaleski — Zaleski Village Fire Protection and EMS, replacement; 4 Mills, 5 years
