JACKSON — Did you know you can cast your ballot for the 2019 General Election in Jackson County early?

Last week on Tuesday, Oct. 8, early in-person voting began in Jackson County. To vote early, visit the Jackson County Board of Elections Office, located at 275 Portsmouth Street in Jackson.

The hours for early in-person voting are:

• Tuesday, Oct. 8 through Friday, October 25 from 8 a.m. — 5 p.m.

• Monday, Oct. 28 through Friday, November 1 from 8 a.m. — 7 p.m.

• Saturday, Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. — 4 p.m.

• Sunday, Nov. 3 from 1 p.m. — 5 p.m.

The final day to vote early will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 2 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.

Absentee ballots were mailed out on Oct. 8, 2019. Absentee ballots may be returned to the Board Office in person until Tuesday, Nov. 5, at 7:30 p.m. If they are mailed back they must be postmarked by the Post Office by midnight Monday, Nov. 4, 2019.
