The Vinton County Sheriff’s Office welcomed two new deputies to its staff, as well as a new Canine Officer.
Deputy Kyle Ferguson, who graduated from Vinton County High School, has been re-hired to the position of full-time deputy sheriff. Dep. Ferguson worked for the office for approximately two years before taking a full-time position with McConnelsville Police Department. We would also like to welcome Dep. Jeffery Morris and his Canine, Maximus.
Dep. Morris was hired as a part-time deputy and will help work the road during the weekends. He will work alongside Deputy Nick Appleman and Canine Vader.
