An Oak Hill man was injured in a one-vehicle crash on CH&D Road near the village.
The crash took place Saturday, June 8 at 8:50 p.m., the State Highway Patrol has reported.
David Hudson, 62, was reportedly driving a 2013 Ford truck southbound when the vehicle went off the right side of the roadway, went over an embankment and struck a cement bridge culvert.
Hudson was lifted out of the truck by first responders with the Madison-Jefferson Fire Department. He suffered incapacitating injuries in the crash, the report states, and was flown by medical helicopter to St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia. Jackson County EMS also responded to the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
