OAK HILL — The Southern Ohio Conference released its all-conference baseball teams on Monday, including player, pitcher and coach of the year honors.
Wheelersburg’s Jalen Miller earned honors as Player of the Year, Minford’s Ethan Lauder and Valley’s Tanner Cunningham received co-Pitcher of the Year nods while Wheelersburg’s Derek Moore and Minford’s Anthony Knittel were tabbed as co-Coaches of the Year in the SOC II.
Joining Miller, Lauder and Cunningham on first-team is Oak Hill’s Bayley Clutters. The senior standout batted .430 in his final season, including a pair of home runs, eight doubles, three triples and driving in 21 runs.
On the mound, he finished 3-2 with 36 total innings pitched. He carried a 2.91 earned run average and struck out 57 batters.
Rounding out the first team list is Wheelersburg’s Trey Carter and Connor Mullins, Minford’s Elijah Vogelsong and Darius Jordan, Waverly’s Tucker Tackett and Ian Gillen, West’s Dylan Bradford, South Webster’s Jacob Ruth and Northwest’s Braxton Marcum.
Oak Hill’s Hunter Lahrmer leads the charge on the second-team list. He finished the season batting .290 with a home run, five doubles and 11 RBIs.
Serving as the Oaks’ ace, he went 5-5 in 63.2 innings with a 2.08 ERA alongside striking out 75 batters and surrendering just six walks.
Alongside Lahrmer on second-team is Wheelersburg’s Cole Ratcliff and Will Darling, Minford’s Luke Lindamood and Reid Schultz, Waverly’s Trevor Penrod, Valley’s Jesse Jones, West’s Garrett Hurd, South Webster’s Billy Jones and Northwest’s Orville Tackett.
In the SOC I, Clay’s Clay Cottle and Green’s Tayte Carver earned honors as co-Players of the Year, Clay’s Dakota Dodds and Green’s Tanner Kimbler received co-Pitchers of the Year while Clay’s Marc Cottle and Green’s Dan McDavid were co-Coaches of the Year.
Alongside the duos from Clay and Green on first-team is Green’s Eli Webb and Bryce Penn, Clay’s Jaden Jessee, Eastern’s Parker Clemmons and Logan Clemmons, East’s Tyler Winston, West’s Dylan Theobold and Notre Dame’s Ethan Kammer.
On second-team is Clay’s Reece Whitley and Evan Woods, Green’s Levi Singleton, Eastern’s Chance Adkins, Symmes Valley’s Devin Renfro and Caden Brammer, East’s Dylan Bailey, Western’s Sage Collingsworth and Notre Dame’s Matt Boldman.
