Now that the basketball season has officially ended, the TVC officially released its all-conference list boys and girls.
For the third straight season, Vinton County girls took home the TVC championship so it was only right it received four girls on the conference list.
Morgan Bentley was once again named TVC Player of the Year after averaging team-highs of 14.8 points and 8.8 rebounds alongside 3.2 assists per night.
She was joined on all-conference by teammates Cameron Zinn, Tegan Bartoe and Josie Ousley.
Zinn finished with 11 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.3 steals, 3.1 assists and 2.5 steals per night, Bartoe put up 10.2 points, four rebounds and 3.4 assists while Ousley added 8.2 points per game.
Rounding out the TVC list was Nelsonville-York’s Mackenzie Hurd, Haley Hurd, Grace Sinnott and Joselyn Heller, Alexander’s Marlee Grinstead, Kara Meeks and Jadyn Mace, River Valley’s Hannah Jacks, Meigs’ Mallory Hawley, Athens’ Laura Manderick and Wellston’s Alexis Bouska.
On the boys’ side, Vinton County’s Gavin Arbaugh and Lance Montgomery earned their way to all-conference honors.
Arbaugh finished as the team’s leading scorer with 18 points, five rebounds and three assists per night, while Montgomery added 14 points, four rebounds and 2.5 assists.
Also on all conference was Wellston’s Hunter Smith, who finished the season with 10.9 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.
Joining the duo on the all-conference list was Meigs’ Coulter Cleland and Weston Baer, who was named TVC Player of the Year, Alexander’s J.K. Kearns, Kyler D’Augustino, Caleb Terry and Kaleb Easley, Athens’ Brayden Markins and Brayden Whiting, River Valley’s Brandon Call and Jordan Lambert, Nelsonville-York’s Mikey Seel and Ethan Gail.
