McARTHUR — Vinton County wanted the pressure, and Warren gave the Vikings all the fight it could on Saturday.
But in the end, it wasn’t enough as the Vikings drilled 13 3-pointers which aided them in a 63-58 victory over the Warriors on Saturday.
Morgan Bentley led the way with 21 points, followed by 18 from Myriah Davis. They each buried four 3-pointers and were the only Vikings player to score in double digits on the day.
Lacie Williams added eight points, Tegan Bartoe had six points while Cameron Zinn came down with 14 rebounds.
Vinton County opens up TVC action on the road Thursday at Wellston.
