HUNTINGTON, W. Va. — Wendy’s has announced the 2018 Wendy’s High School Heisman School Winners.
From a total applicant pool of nearly 42,000 high school scholar-athletes graduating with the class of 2019, more than 7,500 have been named School Winners in Wendy’s annual scholarship competition.
Jackson’s school winners are Sydnie Kilgour and Matt Humphreys.
Oak Hill’s school winners are Baleigh McNerlin and Colin Hughes.
Wellston’s school winner is Kelli Aubrey.
Vinton County’s school winners are Isabelle Lambert and Trafford Dunn.
To apply, student athletes must have a cumulative high school grade point average of 3.0 or better and be considered a leader in their community.
A plaque featuring the winners will be on display in the local Wendy’s in Jackson and Wellston.
School winners will continue to compete for the chance to become state and national winners.
