JACKSON — Amid the panic surrounding the spread of COVID-19, Jackson County residents have and continue to venture out to the grocery stores to stock up on goods.
Locally, Kroger and Walmart in Jackson have set new temporary hours of operation to focus on cleaning and replenishing of items. The announcement came on Sunday, March 15.
Items missing from shelves range from cleaners to toilet paper and bottled water. Many other items were missing as well.
Walmart of Jackson will be open 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily, while Kroger of Jackson will be open 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.
The new hours will be in affect until further notice.
